Volunteers are always wanted and needed at the Boys & Girls Club. Volunteers are usually college students, however anyone over the age of 18 is encouraged to get involved. You can work at many different areas here. Just tell us what your interests are, and we will find a match for you. No prior experience is needed The only thing that we request is an enthusiasm for working with children. We hope that you can join us!
I want to volunteer
Today's young people face life-threatening challenges on a daily basis--substance abuse, neglect, AIDS, poverty -- the list is far too long. If our youth are to grow up and become productive citizens of society -- often if they are to grow up at all -- they need a place away from these threats. A place where they can just be kids. A place where caring adults can help them develop the skills and self-confidence to say, "no", to dangerous pastimes. TheCliff Hagan Boys
& Girls Club offers that -- and more. Since 1968, the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club has provided the young people in our community with something they need and want most: a safe environment, where adults respect and listen to them...and where they can have fun. Since 1995, membership has escalated from XXXtoXXXXZ. Of the XXXXX school-age young people living in Owensboro, we reach a large share of that population with our programs.
We also provide programs and services to additional teens annually. Invest in Owensboro's's future. Invest in theCliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club(CHBGC). Your investment helps guarantee a strong future for our young people and our community. The choice is yours, but the rewards are shared by everyone; especially the children who represent our community's future.
